ASE Certified Master Technician, MD state inspector and old school mechanic in Laurel MD, with 40 years of experience in the Automotive industry. “Back in the day we were just mechanics, solving basic mechanical issues, today we need to be computer savvy Automotive Technicians ready to deal with complex automotive problems, check engine lights and electrical diagnostics” Gary founded Gary’s Automotive in 1987 and earned a degree in Business Management from Management Success 1997. ASE Certified in Brakes, Electrical, Engine Performance, Engine Repair, Steering & Suspension, Heating &Air Conditioning as well as an ASE Certified Service Advisor and Auto Parts Specialist. Gary is trained and certified in Vehicle Emissions and has various factory training from GM & Toyota. Gary is also an Authorized Maryland State Inspector in Laurel Maryland.

Beverly has been active in the business since it opened in 1987. and she can speak “mechanic talk” with the best in the automotive field. She has developed many friendships with our customers and knows almost all of our customers by name. Beverly is responsible for job estimating, scheduling and work flow at the shop and her favorite part of the job is talking with all the great people that she meets on a daily basis.

Gary Jr. was raised around the auto repair business and has been working on cars full time since he got out of the Marine Corp in 1997. Tony is our Service Advisor and joined our team in July 2017. Tony studied business management at Towson University. Tony then spent 5 years working for a national tire chain where he received retail management training and eventually became a store manager. Since joining our team, he has completed his Service Advisor training from the Automotive Training Institute here in Maryland. Tony is a welcome addition to our team and brings a lot of energy to Gary’s Automotive, as well as a passion for cars and a true desire to help customers with all of their automotive needs.

Noel has been a technician since 2002 when he received his degree in Automotive Technology in Honduras, Central America. Prior to joining our team Noel spent 8 years performing a wide range of fleet repairs for a national company in Florida & North Carolina.
