Gary Uhlman Sr. - As owner of Gary�s Automotive, I would like to welcome you to our website and invite you to browse around. Please feel free to contact us by phone or via the web site for any of your service needs. I founded Gary's Automotive in April 1987 when I realized a need for an automotive repair shop in a town that was growing at a fast pace and most service stations were closing their repair bays and opening convenience stores. Since that time over 20 independent auto repair shops have opened in the Laurel area and many more have come and gone. It is because of our loyal customers that we have enjoyed 16 years of success in Laurel.
We strive to be number one with our commitment to customer service and our
�Excellence Guaranteed� policy. I would like to thank all of our customers

customers that have followed me through the years and trusted their car to
me since I came to my first job in Laurel in 24 years ago. |

| Beverly Uhlman
� Hi, I am Gary�s business partner and wife of 25 years. We have three
children, daughter Tammy, and two sons, Gary Jr. who works with us and
Michael who helps us part-time while in college and is the person most
responsible for this web site. When we started our business in 1987, I didn�t know much about cars because Gary always took care of our vehicles. Over the past 15 years I have received a lot of on the job training and I�ve gotten to know cars pretty good. Occasionally I get the customer who wants to challenge my knowledge, but I can hang with the best of them. Through the years I�ve developed many friendships with our customers and know almost all of our customers by name. I am responsible for job estimating and work flow at the shop and my favorite part of the job has to be talking with all the great people that I meet every day. In my spare time, I like to create stained glass projects. I also enjoy spending time with my grandson. |

Gary Uhlman Jr. - I have worked alongside family members at Gary�s
Automotive since 1995. After a brief absence for basic training in the US
Marines, I returned to the Baltimore area as a reservist and continued to
work in the family business. At Gary�s Automotive, I strive to deliver a high standard of customer service and enjoy working with the many customers and friends that I have come to meet over my eight plus years with the business. I try to understand my customer�s needs and strive to provide a level of service beyond the customer�s expectations. In my spare time, I volunteer as a Fireman for the city of Laurel. My wife Renee and I currently reside in Baltimore where I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, two cats and two parrots. |
