UNIROYAL TIGER PAW TIRES WITH NAILGARD - WHAT IS COVERED AND FOR HOW LONG
Workmanship and Materials
Uniroyal NailGard self-sealing passenger tires, used in normal service on the vehicle on which they were originally fitted, and in accordance with the maintenance recommendations and safety warnings contained in the attached owner's manual, are covered by this warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for six years from the date of purchase, or if proof of purchase is not available, six years from the date of manufacture, as imprinted on the sidewall of the tire. At that time this Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tires with NailGard Limited Warranty and all other warranties, express or implied expire.

Tread Puncture Limited Warranty
The Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tire with NailGard has a sealant material covering its inner liner at the tread area. This sealant is designed to seal punctures to the tread that are 3/16ths of an inch or less in diameter. No tire is immune to having a complete loss of air. However, if your Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tire with NailGard does not seal during the legal life of the tire, *Uniroyal will replace the tire, free of charge. (* See definitions)

UNIROYAL OFFERS THIS TREAD PUNCTURE REPLACEMENT LIMITED WARRANTY SOLELY AS A CONVENIENCE TO ITS CUSTOMERS. UNIROYAL MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR PROMISE THAT UNIROYAL TIGER PAW TIRES WITH NAILGARD WILL SEAL TREAD PUNCTURES GREATER THAN 3/16" IN DIAMETER.

80,000 Mile Treadwear Limited Warranty
If, within six years of the date of purchase, your Tiger Paw Tire with NailGard wears evenly across the tread down to the treadwear indicators (2/32nds of an inch tread remaining) before providing 80,000 miles of service, it will be replaced with a comparable tire on a pro rata basis, calculated on mileage obtained. Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tires with NailGard which wear out evenly before providing 80,000 miles of service will be replaced under the terms and conditions of this limited warranty only if:

1) You are the original purchaser of the tires, you own the vehicle on which they were originally installed, and the tires have been used only on that vehicle;

2) The tires have been rotated and inspected by a participating Uniroyal retailer every 7,500 miles, and the attached NailGard Rotation Service Record has been fully completed and signed;

3) The completed service record, Original Owner/Tire Installation Information form, and a copy of the original invoice are presented to a participating Uniroyal retailer at the time of adjustment claim; and

4) The tires have not become unserviceable due to a condition listed under "WHAT IS NOT COVERED."

DEFINITIONS
The "legal life of the tire" is six years from the date of purchase or the life of the "usable tread," which is defined as the original tread worn down to the level of the treadwear indicators - 2/32nds of an inch (1.6 mm) of tread remaining, whichever occurs first. The date of purchase is documented by a new vehicle registration or tire sales invoice. If no proof of purchase is available, the date of manufacture, as molded on the sidewall, will be used. Replacement will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions described under "HOW REPLACEMENT CHARGES ARE CALCULATED."

Uneven wear is defined as a tread groove difference of 2/32nds or more on the same tire.

HOW REPLACEMENT CHARGES ARE CALCULATED
Tread Puncture and Workmanship and Materials Coverage
No tire, regardless of quality, is immune to a complete loss of air. However, if a Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tire with NailGard:

1) fails to seal a tread puncture during the legal life of the tire, or;

2) becomes unserviceable because of a defect in workmanship or materials during the first two years of service and before 2/32nds of an inch (1.6mm) or less of the original tread has been worn, (or 25% or less, whichever is most beneficial to the user); the tire will be replaced free of charge, mounting and balancing included.

UNIROYAL OFFERS THIS TREAD PUNCTURE REPLACEMENT LIMITED WARRANTY SOLELY AS A CONVENIENCE TO ITS CUSTOMERS. UNIROYAL MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR PROMISE THAT NAILGARD TIRES WILL SEAL TREAD PUNCTURES GREATER THAN 3/16" IN DIAMETER.

If a Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tire with NailGard becomes unserviceable because of a defect in workmanship or materials after the free replacement period, the tire will be replaced on a pro rata basis, at a charge calculated according to the percentage of tread worn. You pay the cost of mounting, balancing, and any other services or applicable taxes.

80,000 Mile Treadwear Limited Warranty

Subject to the conditions listed under UNIROYAL NAILGARD TIRES - WHAT IS COVERED AND FOR HOW LONG, if a Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tire with NailGard wears down to 2/32nds of an inch within six years from the date of purchase and before delivering 80,000 miles, that tire will be replaced on a pro rata basis.

To calculate your charge on a pro rata basis, the retailer will multiply the percentage of mileage received by the current actual selling price at the adjustment location or the price in the current Uniroyal Base Price List, whichever is lower. This adjustment price is based on a predetermined price intended to fairly represent the actual selling price of the tire. You pay the cost of mounting, balancing, and any other service charges and applicable taxes.
